Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edwin Ortiz took the kick off in the first half of the match. AFC United's Frasco Esquivel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandrino Gameiro in the 7th minute of play. Alexandrino Gameiro got in the 8th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Frasco Esquivel handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Victorio Monte in the 14th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by AFC United's Hector-Luis Conllas. Serbülent Baysan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwin Ortiz in the 16th minute of the match. Frasco Esquivel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandrino Gameiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute Alexandrino Gameiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frasco Esquivel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AFC United's Frasco Esquivel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jude Cruz in the 32nd minute of play. Pirro Pereta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the match, AFC United's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandrino Gameiro came free, but Frasco Esquivel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to FC Anderlecht Huachipato getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Victorio Monte hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute Roegelio Moyua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serbülent Baysan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frasco Esquivel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandrino Gameiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Frasco Esquivel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandrino Gameiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The FC Anderlecht Huachipato players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AFC United were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexandrino Gameiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Alexandrino Gameiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFC United's Frasco Esquivel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to AFC United getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Nemanja Vidic hit a great ball. Nemanja Vidic kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, AFC United's Serbülent Baysan threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hector-Luis Conllas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Frasco Esquivel came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Carlos José Opazo. But to his dismay, Carlos José Opazo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. AFC United's Frasco Esquivel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandrino Gameiro in the 76th minute of play. Frasco Esquivel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandrino Gameiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. The supporters of FC Anderlecht Huachipato booed when AFC United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector-Luis Conllas didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandrino Gameiro in the 83rd minute of play forced AFC United's goalkeeper Frasco Esquivel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frasco Esquivel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
