Paúl Zubieta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serbülent Baysan having to interfere. Danny Rubinos might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serbülent Baysan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The supporters of Roneros F.C. booed when FC Anderlecht Huachipato was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jude Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Kaviedes Sevane was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Roneros F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Anderlecht Huachipato the free kick. In the 24th minute, FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Alexandrino Gameiro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Urtsua Sanabre. Urtsua Sanabre yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 27th minute, Jude Cruz made a precise shot to the right of Urtsua Sanabre. Roneros F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 30th minute of the match, Jude Cruz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Urtsua Sanabre saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 31st minute, Alexandrino Gameiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Anderlecht Huachipato fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 37th minute Carlos José Opazo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urtsua Sanabre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Urtsua Sanabre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos José Opazo in the 38th minute of play. After 44 played minutes Roneros F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Xuoco Zaera. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexandrino Gameiro was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ximenez Aller in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serbülent Baysan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 54 minutes FC Anderlecht Huachipato's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Xuoco Zaera who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Paúl Zubieta heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Urtsua Sanabre came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Alexandrino Gameiro. But to his dismay, Alexandrino Gameiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Urtsua Sanabre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorio Monte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Urtsua Sanabre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandrino Gameiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 90th match minute, Roneros F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franco Chapital to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandrino Gameiro in the 91st minute of play forced Roneros F.C.'s goalkeeper Urtsua Sanabre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th match minute, FC Anderlecht Huachipato was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorio Monte to maneuver through the defense. FC Anderlecht Huachipato walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
