The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 10 minutes into the game, Gartxot Estopinal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Socavon FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Empate the free kick. After a rather tough play, Socavon FC's Gartxot Estopinal got a free kick in the 10th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Gustavo-Hernán Torrico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Empate's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo-Hernán Torrico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toni Schumacher breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th minute, Martin Chapado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cordairo Abad was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 18 minutes into the match, Socavon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiadoro Abadia came free, but Toni Schumacher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cordairo Abad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Chapado in the 21st minute of the match. Cordairo Abad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Chapado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cordairo Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eneas Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 28th match minute, Deportivo Empate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo-Hernán Torrico to maneuver through the defense. Baldomiro Contero struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Cordairo Abad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Socavon FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Garaile Pacio in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cordairo Abad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Deportivo Empate's Cordairo Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eneas Leal in the 33rd minute of play. Amador Abenda's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Toni Schumacher skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some careless play in the Deportivo Empate defense, Garaile Pacio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cordairo Abad. The Deportivo Empate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cordairo Abad should have stopped the shot. Socavon FC's Diagur Mellado was substituted for Eneas Leal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diagur Mellado was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute Diagur Mellado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cordairo Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Deportivo Empate's goal looked a bit too open when Diagur Mellado came free, but Cordairo Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cordairo Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diagur Mellado, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. A collision led to Deportivo Empate getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Vicente Abecia hit a great ball. Magdaleno Abello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 65th minute, Socavon FC's Martin Chapado dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. After 71 played minutes Socavon FC got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Contero. After 71 played minutes, Deportivo Empate's Gustavo-Hernán Torrico shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Toni Schumacher came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Deportivo Empate reached it. 73 minutes into the match, Deportivo Empate's goalkeeper Cordairo Abad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Chapado. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Cordairo Abad successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Empate's Gustavo-Hernán Torrico got a free kick in the 78th minute. Socavon FC made a substitution. Garcia Goyo replaced Gualterio Rojo. Socavon FC's Iturri Soldevilla was substituted for Martin Chapado. Gustavo-Hernán Torrico kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Franko Tio struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Cordairo Abad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Socavon FC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Garaile Pacio got free with Cordairo Abad in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 90th match minute, Deportivo Empate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiadoro Abadia to maneuver through the defense. Cordairo Abad acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 91st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ordono Aspurua. Deportivo Empate's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Garaile Pacio scored to the left of an out of position Cordairo Abad, making the score, 0-7. The crowd rose to their feet as Socavon FC's Iturri Soldevilla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cordairo Abad. That made the score 0-8 after 97 minutes of play. With a little luck, Deportivo Empate's Cordairo Abad got control of the ball when Iturri Soldevilla tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Socavon FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Deportivo Empate.
