Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Aaron Zamorano made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4th match minute, CRUZ DEL SUR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Faraggi to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the match, Real Marabino's goal looked a bit too open when Xulián Artaño came free, but Orlanda Aguiriano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Pedro Owen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bobby Abreu in the 10th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Aaron Zamorano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlanda Aguiriano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stanislav Wawrinka got free with Juan Pedro Owen in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 17 minutes into the game, CRUZ DEL SUR's Adam Faraggi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Orlanda Aguiriano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 23rd minute, Xulián Artaño got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Miguel Araujo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 24 minutes into the match. A collision led to Real Marabino getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Miguel Araujo hit a great ball. When Aaron Zamorano came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the CRUZ DEL SUR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aaron Zamorano couldn't finish the play. Ferrán Casas charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferrán Casas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Juan Pedro Owen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bobby Abreu in the 29th minute of the match. Juan Pedro Owen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stanislav Wawrinka in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute Aaron Zamorano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlanda Aguiriano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cidro Buenahora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Juan Pedro Owen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Faraggi in the 41st minute of play forced Real Marabino's goalkeeper Orlanda Aguiriano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aaron Zamorano took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Orlanda Aguiriano. Orlanda Aguiriano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After the first half CRUZ DEL SUR were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bobby Abreu made a kick off. Real Marabino's Orlanda Aguiriano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 50th minute of the match, managed to save Real Marabino from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in CRUZ DEL SUR's zone, Bobby Abreu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Pedro Owen came out of the goal and Bobby Abreu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 56 minutes into the game, when Lorenzo Ariztía put in a rough tackle. In the 55th minute, one of CRUZ DEL SUR:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CRUZ DEL SUR. CRUZ DEL SUR:s Juan Pedro Owen showed great skill when he stopped Rufo Coello:s penalty. In the 57th minute, Rufo Coello left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Marabino fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 61st minute Bobby Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Pedro Owen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, José Ignacio Berguecio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Bobby Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 67 minutes, Bobby Abreu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Marabino and the CRUZ DEL SUR players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Real Marabino getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Bobby Abreu hit a great ball. Vicente Tolhauzsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Orlanda Aguiriano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 77 minutes CRUZ DEL SUR's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rufo Coello who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Real Marabino's corner Rufo Coello fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Juan Pedro Owen quite easily take care of the ball. Adam Faraggi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlanda Aguiriano having to interfere.
