An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelillo Fuente in the 6th minute of play forced Club Olimpia's goalkeeper Dalmacio Caldueño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Foro Constante fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Olimpia's protests and gave Foro Constante a yellow card for diving instead. Angelillo Fuente was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 10th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ornitorrincos F.C.'s Teodovico Chandia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Ornitorrincos F.C. from getting a goal against them. 16 minutes into the game, Modestio Jina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ornitorrincos F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Olimpia the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ornitorrincos F.C.'s Modestio Jina got a free kick in the 17th minute. Dalmacio Caldueño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modestio Jina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dalmacio Caldueño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentín Bello in the 20th minute of play. After 23 minutes of play, Club Olimpia's Cebo Morejon made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teodovico Chandia was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 26 played minutes Ornitorrincos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo Kovasic. Dalmacio Caldueño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentín Bello in the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Ancavil in the 33rd minute of play forced Club Olimpia's goalkeeper Dalmacio Caldueño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Valentín Bello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cebo Morejon, 70 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Dalmacio Caldueño successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ornitorrincos F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Olimpia the free kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ornitorrincos F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Club Olimpia.
