The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sagrario Adan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Casas, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Valdivia in the 5th minute of play forced ASI NOMAS FC's goalkeeper Sagrario Adan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ASI NOMAS FC's Sagrario Adan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Casas in the 19th minute of play. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by ASI NOMAS FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Saturnino Troncoso was slow to take the kick. During this time Inter de Chillán's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Saturnino Troncoso got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sagrario Adan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Elodio Angellotti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabirel Golpe in the 31st minute of the match. Gabirel Golpe succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 31st playminute. In the 33rd minute, Jorge Valdivia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sagrario Adan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 37th minute Jorge Valdivia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sagrario Adan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Inter de Chillán's Francisco Lacunza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sagrario Adan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Esquipula Ascarza to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes ASI NOMAS FC got a freekick which was hit by Mede Fariña. In the 55th minute, Inter de Chillán's Francisco Lacunza ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sagrario Adan. Sagrario Adan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Jorge Valdivia took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Sagrario Adan to make any attempt to save it. In the 64thth minute of the game Marcos Soto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ASI NOMAS FC's Sagrario Adan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Armando Irazu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ASI NOMAS FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inter de Chillán the free kick. After 66 played minutes ASI NOMAS FC got a freekick which was hit by Armando Irazu. Sagrario Adan made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Francisco Lacunza sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Inter de Chillán defense, Esquipula Ascarza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elodio Angellotti. The Inter de Chillán fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elodio Angellotti should have stopped the shot. 96 minutes into the game, Mede Fariña was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ASI NOMAS FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inter de Chillán the free kick. A collision led to ASI NOMAS FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Mede Fariña hit a great ball. Saturnino Troncoso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sagrario Adan. ASI NOMAS FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
