Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Juan Luis Alfaro took the kick off in the first half of the match. Elodio Angellotti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentín Bello in the 3rd minute of the match. Elodio Angellotti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentín Bello, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 7thth minute of the game Juan Luis Alfaro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ornitorrincos F.C.'s Teodovico Chandia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 8th match minute, Ornitorrincos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavio Samaniego to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the match, Juan Luis Alfaro notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ornitorrincos F.C.'s Teodovico Chandia. Teodovico Chandia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan Luis Alfaro in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teodovico Chandia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 23 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's goalkeeper Elodio Angellotti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Carlos Zapata. After 25 played minutes Inter de Chillán got a freekick which was hit by Buenaventura Durruti. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Elodio Angellotti successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 34th match minute, Inter de Chillán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Buenaventura Durruti to maneuver through the defense. Teodovico Chandia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Luis Alfaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Inter de Chillán's Elodio Angellotti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentín Bello in the 40th minute of play. After 42 minutes of play, Inter de Chillán's Juan Luis Alfaro made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teodovico Chandia was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Inter de Chillán were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valentín Bello to strike the kick off in the second half. José Carlos Zapata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ornitorrincos F.C.'s Cipriano Ancavil got a free kick in the 59th minute. When Ornitorrincos F.C.'s Modestio Jina in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Ornitorrincos F.C. booed when Inter de Chillán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juliano Ibáñez didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Carlos Zapata kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Elodio Angellotti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Carlos Zapata in the 95th minute of play.
