In the 8th match minute, ForestFire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lane Martinez to maneuver through the defense. Wes Gillespie made an important save on a dangerous shot by George Costanza in the 11th minute. After 11 played minutes ForestFire got a freekick which was hit by Franklin Potts. Wes Gillespie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Franz Kafka in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Real Marabino's goal looked a bit too open when Lane Martinez came free, but Orlanda Aguiriano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, ForestFire's Tuan Zimmerman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Orlanda Aguiriano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The audience was convinced that Lane Martinez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orlanda Aguiriano was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, ForestFire's Cary Griggs got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Friedrich Nietzsche in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Friedrich Nietzsche to make the kick off. Cary Griggs's late challenge caught a Real Marabino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cary Griggs helped the player get up and apologised. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lane Martinez got free with Orlanda Aguiriano in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ForestFire's Tuan Zimmerman got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Franz Kafka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 69 played minutes ForestFire got a freekick which was hit by Curtis Hunter. In the 70th minute of the match Rufo Coello shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wes Gillespie showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Real Marabino were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after ForestFire's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rufo Coello took the corner. Rufo Coello made a great header on Real Marabino's corner, it was just that ForestFire's Wes Gillespie managed to reach the ball for a save. When Zadornin Robires got free in front of the goal in the 72nd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Wes Gillespie was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Milo Blanco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wes Gillespie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franz Kafka in the 86th minute of play. Real Marabino's Orlanda Aguiriano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Real Marabino from getting a goal against them. After 95 minutes of play, Real Marabino's Friedrich Nietzsche made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wes Gillespie was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
