Barni San Martín's late challenge caught a Informaniaticos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Barni San Martín helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Informaniaticos booed when Inter de Chillán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barni San Martín didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saturnino Frascuelo during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Francisco Lacunza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Calvino having to interfere. After 14th play minutes Juan Luis Alfaro shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Horacio Calvino and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Informaniaticos's Romeo Peruxu got a free kick in the 17th minute. The long shot by Francisco Lacunza in the 18th minute really tested Horacio Calvino's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With a little luck, Informaniaticos's Horacio Calvino got control of the ball when Juan Luis Alfaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan Luis Alfaro in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horacio Calvino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Horacio Calvino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Lacunza in the 23rd minute of play. Horacio Calvino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barni San Martín, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horacio Calvino was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Juan Luis Alfaro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 33 minute of play. In the 35th match minute, Informaniaticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elpidio Sugoi to maneuver through the defense. Barni San Martín received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Horacio Calvino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Informaniaticos's Horacio Calvino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barni San Martín in the 40th minute of play. Barni San Martín sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Juan Luis Alfaro made the kick off in the second half. Ciro Luar kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Barni San Martín made a precise shot to the right of Horacio Calvino. Informaniaticos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Matias Cordarrel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elodio Angellotti having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Informaniaticos's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Luis Alfaro came free, but Horacio Calvino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horacio Calvino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan Luis Alfaro's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Juan Luis Alfaro put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Horacio Calvino. If Ciro Luar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horacio Calvino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan Luis Alfaro's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Luis Alfaro in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horacio Calvino saved Informaniaticos from getting behind. A collision led to Informaniaticos getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Gerardo Malvin hit a great ball. Horacio Calvino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barni San Martín in the 82nd minute of the match. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
