Reinaldo Owen hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After 15 played minutes EL LOBO DE MIAMI got a freekick which was hit by Kareem Kuhn. Inter de Guayaquil FC's Roque Mora got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kareem Kuhn kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. The supporters of Inter de Guayaquil FC booed when EL LOBO DE MIAMI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Nelson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franco Mussoll could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Nelson Insfrán made a huge save. Nelson Insfrán showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franco Mussoll, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Brant Marion was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inter de Guayaquil FC the free kick. A collision led to EL LOBO DE MIAMI getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Brant Marion hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in EL LOBO DE MIAMI's zone, Franco Mussoll stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nelson Insfrán came out of the goal and Franco Mussoll tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nelson Insfrán stood somewhat misplaced when Franco Mussoll came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 34 minute. Franco Mussoll's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nelson Insfrán firmly grabbed it by the left post. When EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Flint Castillo De Reyes in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Nelson Insfrán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franco Mussoll in the 55th minute of play. In the last second Zuriko Lagala throw himself and got hold of the ball when Flint Castillo De Reyes in the 57thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Nelson Insfrán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mellington Chirivoga in the 61st minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Inter de Guayaquil FC's Franco Mussoll nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nelson Insfrán made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 68th minute Mellington Chirivoga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelson Insfrán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of EL LOBO DE MIAMI booed when Inter de Guayaquil FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Macias Ribadas didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruce Hale in the 71st minute of play forced Inter de Guayaquil FC's goalkeeper Zuriko Lagala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, EL LOBO DE MIAMI's goal looked a bit too open when Franco Mussoll came free, but Nelson Insfrán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Franco Mussoll in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nelson Insfrán prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
