Gustau Samano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerónimo Brito in the 6th minute of the match. Herena Rotges's late challenge caught a Magallanes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 21st minute of the match Vladimiro Leroy shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gustau Samano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 22nd minute, Gerónimo Brito made a precise shot to the right of Gustau Samano. Uηiση Aтℓεтιcσ Mαгαcαιвσ✈'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 27th minute Gerónimo Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustau Samano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerónimo Brito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustau Samano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Gerónimo Brito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustau Samano was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. During the 31st minute of the match Herena Rotges completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Herena Rotges a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Magallanes booed when Uηiση Aтℓεтιcσ Mαгαcαιвσ✈ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herena Rotges didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustau Samano came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Magallanes's Gerónimo Brito. But to his dismay, Gerónimo Brito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 42 minutes into the game, Angelo Aracena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Magallanes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uηiση Aтℓεтιcσ Mαгαcαιвσ✈ the free kick. Angelo Aracena hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After 45 played minutes Magallanes got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Leroy. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
