In the 4th minute Jacek Limanowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelson Insfrán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Javiero Núñez got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 10 minutes of play, EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Bruce Hale made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Şafak Kutlug was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nelson Insfrán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Medeiros in the 19th minute of play. Paşa Ba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ajax Colombiano's Şafak Kutlug played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruce Hale in the 36th minute of play. Josiah McIntosh hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Javiero Núñez to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, EL LOBO DE MIAMI's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Palacio came free, but Nelson Insfrán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Şafak Kutlug took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javiero Núñez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Şafak Kutlug threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Javiero Núñez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Josiah McIntosh hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Javiero Núñez got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nelson Insfrán came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Ajax Colombiano's Paşa Ba. But to his dismay, Paşa Ba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Şafak Kutlug made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Javiero Núñez sent off a good shot on target. Manuel Nelson charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Nelson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th match minute, EL LOBO DE MIAMI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Nelson to maneuver through the defense.
