In the 4th minute, Alexandro Mina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raul Platas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 6 played minutes Inter de Guayaquil FC got a freekick which was hit by Jerson Casas. 7 minutes into the match, Atletico Maturrango's Raitin Salvia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zuriko Lagala narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zuriko Lagala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raitin Salvia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Atletico Maturrango's Ciriaco Valiño got a free kick in the 10th minute. Inter de Guayaquil FC's Zuriko Lagala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Palomar in the 16th minute of play. Raul Platas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bottero Ramallal in the 18th minute of the match. A collision led to Atletico Maturrango getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Daniel Palomar hit a great ball. Zuriko Lagala made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Xeromo Quijada sent off a good shot on target. In the 30th minute, Alexandro Mina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inter de Guayaquil FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Atletico Maturrango's Raul Platas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bottero Ramallal in the 38th minute of play. Raul Platas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bottero Ramallal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Inter de Guayaquil FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

54 minutes into the game, Bottero Ramallal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Raul Platas. Bottero Ramallal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xeromo Quijada during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alexandro Mina received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Raul Platas came out and tried to block the shot, but Alexandro Mina slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 61st minute. Daniel Palomar took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zuriko Lagala. Zuriko Lagala dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandro Mina got free with Raul Platas in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raitin Salvia in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zuriko Lagala prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The throw-in from Xinaro Fariñada in the 84th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Inter de Guayaquil FC's Roque Mora. Atletico Maturrango's Raul Platas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Atletico Maturrango from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Atletico Maturrango booed when Inter de Guayaquil FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roque Mora didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zuriko Lagala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raitin Salvia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Atletico Maturrango getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Raitin Salvia hit a great ball. Inter de Guayaquil FC played a much better game than Atletico Maturrango and deserved their victory. The Atletico Maturrango players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
