Roger Martinez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Min Ordoña having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mario Balotelli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Buenaventura FC's Min Ordoña threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roger Martinez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santio Marco in the 65th managed to get into a good position.
