Lucho Pérez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Villaquilambre having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucho Pérez in the 29th minute of play forced El Pinar's goalkeeper Haroldo Villaquilambre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Domenico Báez made a kick off. Colo-Colo's David Israel Epulef was substituted for Domenico Báez. 71 minutes into the match, El Pinar's goal looked a bit too open when David Israel Epulef came free, but Haroldo Villaquilambre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Colo-Colo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than El Pinar throughout the match.
