The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Santos FC's goalkeeper Jim Mitchell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fausto Llamllam. Santos FC's Jim Mitchell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Friz in the 9th minute of play. Fausto Llamllam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jim Mitchell having to interfere. Juan Ignacio González made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jamar Burton in the 15th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Aurelio Lake was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.F. Leftraro the free kick. Jim Mitchell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Friz in the 19th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Ambrosio Scheuermann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.F. Leftraro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santos FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, C.F. Leftraro's Ambrosio Scheuermann got a free kick in the 20th minute. After some careless play in the Santos FC defense, Jorge Friz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jim Mitchell. The Santos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jim Mitchell should have stopped the shot. Santos FC's Jim Mitchell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Friz in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Jorge Friz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jorge Friz kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th match minute, Santos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Burr to maneuver through the defense. Santos FC's Jim Mitchell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Santos FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Llamllam in the 41st minute of play forced Santos FC's goalkeeper Jim Mitchell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorge Friz to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Santos FC getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Lawrence Smart hit a great ball. If Loreno Mac Intyre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ambrosio Scheuermann hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. If Fausto Llamllam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61stth minute of the game Jorge Friz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santos FC's Jim Mitchell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Friz in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jim Mitchell saved Santos FC from getting behind. Juan Ignacio González made an important save on a dangerous shot by Milton Heath in the 71st minute. After 74th play minutes Jorge Friz shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Jim Mitchell and just under the crossbar into goal. Jim Mitchell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Friz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fausto Llamllam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ambrosio Scheuermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fausto Llamllam might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jim Mitchell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. When Jorge Friz came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the C.F. Leftraro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Friz couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that C.F. Leftraro were the better team. C.F. Leftraro's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
