In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind SiTomanBoy´s's goalkeeper José Alberto Sarfate, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Maximiliano Pedemonte reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Denis Sayavedra. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 16th minute of the match, Darío Brizuela got a very nice opportunity to score, but Denis Sayavedra was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Denis Sayavedra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Pedemonte in the 21st minute of the match. Lavallén Oca was shown his second yellow card after 21 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Lavallén Oca kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. A hard shot 31 in the game by Maximiliano Pedemonte from a close distance when the talented Denis Sayavedra managed to make a qualified save. Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's players were relieved. Sandro Riesco came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Denis Sayavedra could save by the left post. Donato Döner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Denis Sayavedra made a huge save.

The wind increased when Sandro Riesco made the kick off in the second half. Maximiliano Pedemonte took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denis Sayavedra. Denis Sayavedra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Denis Sayavedra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Darío Brizuela went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Denis Sayavedra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darío Brizuela in the 58th minute of play. Denis Sayavedra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sandro Riesco went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. If Neicer Maltrana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, SiTomanBoy´s's Demesio Melivilu got a free kick in the 71st minute. A collision led to SiTomanBoy´s getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Sandro Riesco hit a great ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 76 minutes into the game, when Camilo Burgos put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SiTomanBoy´s:s goal. In the 78th minute there was a penalty for SiTomanBoy´s. Pere Reinaga stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Denis Sayavedra. 8-1. After some careless play in the Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato defense, Darío Brizuela kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Denis Sayavedra. The Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Denis Sayavedra should have stopped the shot. 84 minutes into the match, Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's goal looked a bit too open when Darío Brizuela came free, but Denis Sayavedra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
