Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jamar Burton started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute there was a penalty for Carpasús FC - FDC. Loreto Monedero stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jim Mitchell. 0-1. Gero Urrea kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Kevin Mier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Lake in the 13th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, Jamar Maxwell threw the ball into play from the sideline. Carpasús FC - FDC's Alvaro Pares quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Llanez in the 19th minute of play forced Santos FC's goalkeeper Jim Mitchell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Carpasús FC - FDC booed when Santos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lawrence Smart didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Santos FC's zone, Loreto Monedero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jim Mitchell came out of the goal and Loreto Monedero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute, Mauro Llanez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Mauro Llanez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jim Mitchell. Santos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauro Llanez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After some careless play in the Santos FC defense, Mauro Llanez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jim Mitchell. The Santos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jim Mitchell should have stopped the shot. Jim Mitchell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Llanez in the 34th minute of play. Jamar Maxwell made in the 36th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Carpasús FC - FDC's Alvaro Pares. Mauro Llanez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Carpasús FC - FDC's Mauro Llanez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jim Mitchell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Mauro Llanez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jim Mitchell was relentless in the 39th minute of the game.

Jim Mitchell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vidal Coya, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Mauro Llanez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jim Mitchell having to make a save. With a little luck, Santos FC's Jim Mitchell got control of the ball when Mauro Llanez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mauro Llanez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jim Mitchell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Mauro Llanez made a precise shot to the right of Jim Mitchell. Santos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After 66 played minutes Carpasús FC - FDC got a freekick which was hit by Andy Campomanes. Jamar Maxwell made in the 71st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Aurelio Lake however managed to control. 72 minutes into the match, Mauro Llanez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jim Mitchell. Santos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauro Llanez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Jim Mitchell made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Vidal Coya sent off a good shot on target. Jamar Maxwell hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. With his leg Jim Mitchell managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Carpasús FC - FDC's Mauro Llanez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jamar Maxwell hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Jim Mitchell made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Vidal Coya sent off a good shot on target. Carpasús FC - FDC played a much better game than Santos FC and deserved their victory. The Santos FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
