An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Llanez in the 32nd minute of play forced Inmortales FC's goalkeeper Cristopher Herndon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severo Killer hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. A collision led to Inmortales FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Royce Dwyer hit a great ball. Alvaro Pares might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristopher Herndon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvaro Pares ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristopher Herndon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Llanez in the 46th minute of the match. After 47 minutes Inmortales FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Loreto Monedero who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Carpasús FC - FDC's Mauro Llanez getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mike Clinton was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andy Campomanes during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Inmortales FC made a substitution. Thomas Cormier replaced Mike Clinton. In the 54th minute, Andy Campomanes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kevin Mier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Cormier in the 60th minute of play. Mauro Llanez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristopher Herndon having to interfere. The Inmortales FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Kevin Mier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thomas Cormier's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. In the 76th match minute, Inmortales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Royce Dwyer to maneuver through the defense.
