In the 12th minute, Niceto Ovalle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Penuel Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Penuel Football Club's zone, Kevin Shields stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eron Reguer came out of the goal and Kevin Shields tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roldán Soriano hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Juan Alberto Zorrilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Rojas, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niceto Ovalle in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Alberto Zorrilla saved SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT from getting behind. After 29 minutes, Kevin Shields mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT and the Penuel Football Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. 30 minutes into the match, SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Ovalle came free, but Juan Alberto Zorrilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roldán Soriano was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 32 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Penuel Football Club:s goal. SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT:s Juan Alberto Zorrilla showed great skill when he stopped Niceto Ovalle:s penalty. In the 34th minute, Francisco Javier Echazarreta made a precise shot to the right of Eron Reguer. Penuel Football Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 40th minute, SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's Kevin Shields dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. After having played for 46 minutes, Francisco Javier Echazarreta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Javier Echazarreta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Niceto Ovalle stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's Francisco Javier Echazarreta got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Penuel Football Club getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Diego Osorio hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, Penuel Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Shields came free, but Eron Reguer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Goizeder Getino fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Penuel Football Club's protests and gave Goizeder Getino a yellow card for diving instead. Penuel Football Club's Eron Reguer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Shields in the 63rd minute of play. Jorge Rojas charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorge Rojas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT fans cheered their team off the field, for while Penuel Football Club had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
