The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fernando Washburn hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Jorge Rojas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Romeo Dickens. CLAYMORE COUNTRY's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Diego Osorio's late challenge caught a CLAYMORE COUNTRY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Osorio helped the player get up and apologised. Diego Osorio hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Penuel Football Club's Diego Osorio got a free kick in the 9th minute. Eron Reguer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thad Rocha in the 12th minute of the match. Romeo Dickens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Ovalle, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. When CLAYMORE COUNTRY's Joey Rainey in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Penuel Football Club's goalie prevented a goal. Eron Reguer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bob Bright in the 20th minute of play. Thad Rocha struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Eron Reguer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CLAYMORE COUNTRY. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Rojas in the 30th minute of play forced CLAYMORE COUNTRY's goalkeeper Romeo Dickens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Munio Larrieta struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Romeo Dickens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Penuel Football Club. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niceto Ovalle got free with Romeo Dickens in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Goizeder Getino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Romeo Dickens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 41st play minutes Niceto Ovalle shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Romeo Dickens and just under the crossbar into goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Niceto Ovalle to make the kick off. Romeo Dickens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Munio Larrieta in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute Jorge Rojas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Dickens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Munio Larrieta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Dickens having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Otis Oakes during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to CLAYMORE COUNTRY getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Otis Oakes hit a great ball. After 57 played minutes, Penuel Football Club's Jorge Rojas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Romeo Dickens came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Penuel Football Club reached it. CLAYMORE COUNTRY's Romeo Dickens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Munio Larrieta in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Ovalle in the 63rd minute of play forced CLAYMORE COUNTRY's goalkeeper Romeo Dickens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, CLAYMORE COUNTRY's Otis Oakes got a free kick in the 65th minute. Penuel Football Club's Cresenciano Armental was substituted for Munio Larrieta. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
