An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabián Estoyanoff in the 9th minute of play forced POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's goalkeeper Gustau Ageitos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's Ondino Luan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Peñarol FIFV from getting a goal against them. A collision led to POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Esa Maleta hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliverios Yaner in the 15th minute of play forced POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's goalkeeper Gustau Ageitos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's Esa Maleta got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's Gustau Ageitos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Manuel Olivera in the 21st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Oliverios Yaner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's supporters rose to their feet, but Oliverios Yaner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustau Ageitos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabián Estoyanoff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustau Ageitos having to interfere. Severo Duro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Ondino Luan made a huge save. 30 minutes into the match, Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's goal looked a bit too open when Esa Maleta came free, but Ondino Luan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's zone, Juan Manuel Olivera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustau Ageitos came out of the goal and Juan Manuel Olivera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ondino Luan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esa Maleta, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Juan Manuel Olivera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustau Ageitos having to interfere. Fabián Estoyanoff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Gustau Ageitos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severo Duro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Deportivo Peñarol FIFV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Huly Sayago to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's Ando Descalzo got a free kick in the 55th minute. Juan Manuel Olivera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustau Ageitos having to interfere. Tiro Alarcon charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiro Alarcon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th minute, Tiro Alarcon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Oliverios Yaner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's supporters rose to their feet, but Oliverios Yaner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustau Ageitos should have stopped the shot. The tension between the POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol and the Deportivo Peñarol FIFV players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 86 played minutes POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol got a freekick which was hit by Severo Duro. Ando Descalzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ondino Luan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Deportivo Peñarol FIFV booed when POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erasmo Amescua didn't get a good kick on the ball. The POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Deportivo Peñarol FIFV were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
