Joam Abaurre hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the match, River CBBA's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Braswell came free, but Nemesio Abella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeo Ignado in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brice Leach saved Varennes from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Loic Deal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Nemesio Abella made a huge save. After a rather tough play, River CBBA's Joam Abaurre got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After 56 minutes of play, River CBBA's Tadeo Ignado made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brice Leach was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 59th minute of the game Salvador Braswell made a throw-in which Marin Pool played forward. Tadeo Ignado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brice Leach read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Salvador Braswell kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Brice Leach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Ignado in the 65th minute of play. When Salvador Braswell fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Varennes's protests and gave Salvador Braswell a yellow card for diving instead. After 68 played minutes Varennes got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Braswell. River CBBA made a substitution. Ricardo Rojas replaced Fabián Basualdo. Salvador Braswell kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. When Tadeo Ignado came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the River CBBA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tadeo Ignado couldn't finish the play. River CBBA's Tadeo Ignado got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th minute of the match River CBBA got a corner. Varennes's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Reinaldo Merlo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Reinaldo Merlo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Varennes's Brice Leach did a great save. Tadeo Ignado scored 3-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brice Leach, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. River CBBA's António Alzamendi was substituted for Tadeo Ignado. 94 minutes into the match, Varennes's goal looked a bit too open when António Alzamendi came free, but Brice Leach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The River CBBA players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
