Zorros del Desierto's Ceferino Balasi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Zorros del Desierto from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Klevis Selvia made the kick off in the second half. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. ...Pingue S.C....'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Davi Gavilanes in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ceferino Balasi saved Zorros del Desierto from getting behind. In the 73rd minute Klevis Selvia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceferino Balasi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During this time Zorros del Desierto's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Zorros del Desierto's 冰谷 谢霆锋 to fire away a dangerous shot which Sebastião Monesterio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Patxi Claude had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ...Pingue S.C.... had won after a very even match.
