Rollo Duguid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caleb Roberts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tamás Saághy during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Altermundi FC's Tamás Saághy got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 16th minute, Sonny Schumacher ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rollo Duguid was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 19 minutes into the match, Altermundi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Caleb Roberts came free, but Rollo Duguid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 minutes of play, San Antonio HotSPURS's Caleb Roberts made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rollo Duguid was left in no man's land by his defense there! Caleb Roberts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 26 minutes, Caleb Roberts managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Antonio HotSPURS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caleb Roberts was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rogelio Luco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Ulysses Reyes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 31 played minutes San Antonio HotSPURS got a freekick which was hit by Dario Jones. Dario Jones hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. San Antonio HotSPURS's Ulysses Reyes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Manuel Barbosa in the 34th minute of play. Rogelio Luco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ulysses Reyes having to make a save. 37 minutes into the match, Altermundi FC's Rogelio Luco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ulysses Reyes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Collin Storey helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to San Antonio HotSPURS getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Ulysses Reyes was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tamás Saághy. In the 45th minute Rogelio Luco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulysses Reyes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Altermundi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Caleb Roberts came free, but Rollo Duguid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Ulysses Reyes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jose Manuel Barbosa went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Sonny Schumacher hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. When Rogelio Luco came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Altermundi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogelio Luco couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute Dante Baros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulysses Reyes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. San Antonio HotSPURS's Ulysses Reyes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Manuel Barbosa in the 69th minute of play. Kerry Yoshioka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Rollo Duguid made a huge save. The supporters of San Antonio HotSPURS booed when Altermundi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Tassara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Altermundi FC's Rollo Duguid proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Altermundi FC from getting a goal against them. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
