Altermundi FC's Rollo Duguid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Odon in the 3rd minute of play. Aureliano Gorbea hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 6 minutes into the match, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Luco came free, but Israel Bortzaioriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rogelio Luco might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Israel Bortzaioriz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rogelio Luco ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 9th minute, Jose Manuel Barbosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Ovidio Pabla could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Rollo Duguid however easily saved by the left post. In the 12th minute Jose Manuel Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Israel Bortzaioriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eustaquio Jakobe in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rollo Duguid saved Altermundi FC from getting behind. Javier Burutzagi made in the 28th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Marcial Odon. Liberto Chalco took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Israel Bortzaioriz. Israel Bortzaioriz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 41 minutes into the match, Altermundi FC's goalkeeper Rollo Duguid had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcial Odon. The supporters of Altermundi FC booed when Atletas Campesinos F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Abeijon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Altermundi FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eustaquio Jakobe was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Manuel Barbosa in the 52nd minute of play forced Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s goalkeeper Israel Bortzaioriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rogelio Luco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th minute Rogelio Luco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Israel Bortzaioriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Israel Bortzaioriz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rogelio Luco showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 80 minute of play. Rogelio Luco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Israel Bortzaioriz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Altermundi FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tamás Saághy in the 86th minute. Tamás Saághy made a great header on Altermundi FC's corner, it was just that Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Israel Bortzaioriz managed to reach the ball for a save. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Aureliano Gorbea took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Israel Bortzaioriz to make any attempt to save it. Eustaquio Jakobe's late challenge caught a Altermundi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eustaquio Jakobe helped the player get up and apologised. The Atletas Campesinos F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Altermundi FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
