Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) New England Minas's Fletcher Lund started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Segundo Gol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giro Horduña in the 3rd minute of the match. Miles Newsome kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 12thth minute of the game Joel Soldevila who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New England Minas's Segundo Gol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, New England Minas's Jacques Stovall got a free kick in the 13th minute. When Nacional's Gonzalo Carneiro in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye New England Minas's goalie prevented a goal. In the 15th minute Diogo Yurin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Katia Villalobos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute Gonzalo Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Segundo Gol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute Nacional were awarded a corner. Demario Caceo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Demario Caceo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but New England Minas's Segundo Gol did a great save. 24 minutes into the game, Fletcher Lund lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Katia Villalobos. Segundo Gol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giro Horduña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 minutes of play, Nacional's Gonzalo Carneiro made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Segundo Gol was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gonzalo Carneiro in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Segundo Gol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 34 minutes, Gonzalo Carneiro made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. New England Minas's Segundo Gol tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nacional's Demario Caceo got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Segundo Gol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cordarrol Chamochin in the 44th minute of the match. Diogo Yurin's late challenge caught a Nacional's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diogo Yurin helped the player get up and apologised. Diogo Yurin hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gonzalo Carneiro was the one to do the kick off. Segundo Gol made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Cordarrol Chamochin sent off a good shot on target. In the 54th play minute Joel Soldevila came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Segundo Gol. 1-3. Segundo Gol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gonzalo Carneiro's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. After 60 minutes New England Minas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Demario Caceo who took care of the corner kick. Nacional's Demario Caceo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Segundo Gol in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A hard shot 63 in the game by Gonzalo Carneiro from a close distance when the talented Segundo Gol managed to make a qualified save. New England Minas's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Nacional's zone, Fletcher Lund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Katia Villalobos came out of the goal and Fletcher Lund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th minute, Diogo Yurin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute, Nacional's Giro Horduña dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giro Horduña in the 77th minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper Segundo Gol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Carneiro came free, but Segundo Gol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Segundo Gol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
