Spectators: 206 (Terracing: 155, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Blair Lusk kicked off to start the match. Khachatryan's Serge Koryan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willie Vogt in the 3rd minute of play. Alex Raţiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franco Di Giambattista having to interfere. Franco Di Giambattista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arno Martirosyan in the 7th minute of play. Serge Koryan made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Elias Isaac sent off a good shot on target. In the 12th match minute, Racing Miami Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidney Staton to maneuver through the defense. Arno Martirosyan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Franco Di Giambattista. Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Raţiu in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franco Di Giambattista prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Franco Di Giambattista stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricky Villegas's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Blair Lusk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Serge Koryan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Tigran Terzian fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Khachatryan's protests and gave Tigran Terzian a yellow card for diving instead. After 22 played minutes Khachatryan got a freekick which was hit by Tigran Terzian. Johnathan Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute, Tigran Terzian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Franco Di Giambattista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Raţiu in the 40th minute of play. Franco Di Giambattista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Raţiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. When Khachatryan's Alex Raţiu in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Khachatryan's Nair Vartanyan got a free kick in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Racing Miami Futbol Club made a substitution. Denny Godwin replaced Willie Vogt. After a rather tough play, Khachatryan's Manuel Stepanyan got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 56thth minute of the game Alex Raţiu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Racing Miami Futbol Club's Franco Di Giambattista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Genaro Cassidy got a free kick in the 57th minute. With a little luck, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Franco Di Giambattista got control of the ball when Arno Martirosyan tried to sneak it across the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Franco Di Giambattista showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arno Martirosyan in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franco Di Giambattista saved Racing Miami Futbol Club from getting behind. Serge Koryan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genaro Cassidy in the 73rd minute of the match. Glen Hoff kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Khachatryan's Jerry Richter was substituted for Ricky Villegas. Khachatryan made a substitution. Levon Khachaturyan replaced Graig Duke. The supporters of Khachatryan booed when Racing Miami Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glen Hoff didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Racing Miami Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Stepanyan came free, but Franco Di Giambattista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serge Koryan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Cassidy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serge Koryan came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Racing Miami Futbol Club's Genaro Cassidy. But to his dismay, Genaro Cassidy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Elias Isaac's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serge Koryan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. When Khachatryan's Arno Martirosyan in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalie prevented a goal. When Shi Liang Hao fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Franco Di Giambattista made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alex Raţiu in the 96th minute. If Alex Raţiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Khachatryan's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
