Daniel Chuan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 6 minutes into the match, 杨兴昆 notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Albirex Niigata FC's Daniel Chuan. Daniel Chuan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 10 minutes into the match, 冯洋源 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Chuan. Albirex Niigata FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 冯洋源 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 袁竞天 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ali Ramachandran in the 14th minute. Ali Ramachandran in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of 袁竞天, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 袁竞天 made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Afriz Hian sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Chuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 杨兴昆 in the 20th minute of play. 袁竞天 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ali Ramachandran in the 21st minute. Ali Ramachandran in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of 袁竞天, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by 冯洋源 in the 22nd minute of play forced Albirex Niigata FC's goalkeeper Daniel Chuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When 冯洋源 came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the 大秦皇家军团 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 冯洋源 couldn't finish the play. 杨兴昆 scored 0-4 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Chuan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 31 played minutes 大秦皇家军团 got a freekick which was hit by 冯洋源. 36 minutes into the match, 杨兴昆 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Chuan. Albirex Niigata FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 杨兴昆 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Daniel Chuan came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by 大秦皇家军团's 杨兴昆. But to his dismay, 杨兴昆 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 杨兴昆 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 杨兴昆 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Daniel Chuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, 杨兴昆 dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Daniel Chuan, 0-7. Daniel Chuan made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when 肖枫延 sent off a good shot on target. In the 65th minute, Ali Ramachandran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 袁竞天 was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. After some careless play in the Albirex Niigata FC defense, 肖枫延 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Chuan. The Albirex Niigata FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Chuan should have stopped the shot. Daniel Chuan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 杨兴昆, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Albirex Niigata FC's Afiz Butcher got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Dale Lim hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Daniel Chuan was a little too slow when 杨兴昆 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 1-9. In the 81st minute 杨兴昆 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Chuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, 杨兴昆 dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Daniel Chuan, 1-10. Daniel Chuan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 肖枫延 went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-11 was the resulting score. Albirex Niigata FC's Daniel Chuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 杨兴昆 in the 94th minute of play. The Albirex Niigata FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. 大秦皇家军团 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
