In the 4th match minute, Frenchville Sports Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rod Haskell to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th match minute, Frenchville Sports Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Luckham to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Gonçalves hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Set Fire's goal looked a bit too open when Pearce Hickman came free, but Delmano Dos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alda Felício's late challenge caught a Frenchville Sports Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alda Felício helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, Alda Felício hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Set Fire's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Curtis Mckinnes scored to the left of an out of position Delmano Dos Santos, making the score, 1-0. After some careless play in the Set Fire defense, Kyle Deal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Delmano Dos Santos. The Set Fire fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Delmano Dos Santos should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd minute, Curtis Mckinnes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Frenchville Sports Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 36th minute Emílio Camarinha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Magrath saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 38 minutes, Curtis Mckinnes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Frenchville Sports Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Curtis Mckinnes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Delmano Dos Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kyle Deal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the game, Miguel Gonçalves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Set Fire's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Frenchville Sports Club the free kick. Miguel Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rogério Apalanga made a kick off. In the 61st minute Emílio Camarinha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Magrath saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delmano Dos Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Curtis Mckinnes in the 66th minute of the match. After 68 minutes of play, Frenchville Sports Club's Curtis Mckinnes made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Delmano Dos Santos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emílio Camarinha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edward Magrath read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. A hard shot 76 in the game by Emílio Camarinha from a close distance when the talented Edward Magrath managed to make a qualified save. Frenchville Sports Club's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Set Fire's Alda Felício got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute, Emílio Camarinha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 82 minutes of play, Frenchville Sports Club's Curtis Mckinnes made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Delmano Dos Santos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emílio Camarinha in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edward Magrath prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Delmano Dos Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Curtis Mckinnes in the 95th minute of the match. Frenchville Sports Club walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
