Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Iskandar Phua took the kick off in the first half of the match. Didi Chandran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iskandar Phua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corder Clubley having to interfere. After 8 minutes, Sarb Pillai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nagrand and the Elderslie Magpies players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sarb Pillai kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Raleigh Dale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brock Devine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Corder Clubley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Didi Chandran in the 21st minute of the match. Raleigh Dale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Rod Stephens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alam Dyce was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 34 minutes into the match, Elderslie Magpies's goal looked a bit too open when Didi Chandran came free, but Corder Clubley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iskandar Phua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Corder Clubley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iskandar Phua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brad Missen to strike the kick off in the second half. Nagrand's Alam Dyce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raleigh Dale in the 52nd minute of play. Ed Howard's late challenge caught a Nagrand's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iskandar Phua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Corder Clubley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corder Clubley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iskandar Phua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute, Nagrand's Iskandar Phua dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. After a rather tough play, Elderslie Magpies's Byron Osbiston got a free kick in the 90th minute. Rudy Yi-Sheng was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 90th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 93rd minute of the match Afiz Lim shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Corder Clubley showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Didi Chandran notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Elderslie Magpies's Corder Clubley. Corder Clubley was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match was over Nagrand could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Elderslie Magpies throughout the match.
