The crowd rose to their feet as Arda Göksel Yalaza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Halil İbrahim Balatürk. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. After some careless play in the Erzurumspor defense, Ulaş Kural kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mansur Parshan. The Erzurumspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mansur Parshan should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulaş Kural in the 14th minute of play forced Erzurumspor's goalkeeper Mansur Parshan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Timur Sazak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cankut Onursal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Halil İbrahim Balatürk made a huge save. Halil İbrahim Balatürk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ahmet Ömür Budaklı went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Ahmet Ömür Budaklı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Halil İbrahim Balatürk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Erzurumspor's goal looked a bit too open when Ulaş Kural came free, but Mansur Parshan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ulaş Kural to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in ErbaA KartaLı's zone, Arda Göksel Yalaza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Halil İbrahim Balatürk came out of the goal and Arda Göksel Yalaza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ulaş Kural struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Mansur Parshan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ErbaA KartaLı. ErbaA KartaLı's Halil İbrahim Balatürk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Ömür Budaklı in the 60th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Güral Ahioğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ahmet Hafiz Periz hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Erzurumspor were the better team. Erzurumspor's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
