In the 38th minute, Berkan Alişan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cankut Onursal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 44 minutes into the match, Karakecili JK's goalkeeper Mehmet Efe Kazım had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cankut Onursal. Berkan Alişan lost his temper 45 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmet Erdem Akpınar to strike the kick off in the second half. Mehmet Efe Kazım showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arda Göksel Yalaza in the 89th minute of the match. Naim Bulut's late challenge caught a Erzurumspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Naim Bulut helped the player get up and apologised. Naim Bulut hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match.
