With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tolga Şahinhan in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Veli Özbek saved STARS TEAM from getting behind. 3 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when KOO Tigers's Tolga Şahinhan fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Saadettin Kutsoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Muharrem Bektaş in the 7th minute of the match. Saadettin Kutsoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erberk Hisarcık in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Lütfullah Akçakoca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erberk Hisarcık might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saadettin Kutsoy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erberk Hisarcık ran back to his position shaking his head. After 26 minutes, Muharrem Bektaş made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. KOO Tigers's Saadettin Kutsoy tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Veli Özbek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tolga Şahinhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 38th minute Tolga Şahinhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Veli Özbek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute of the match KOO Tigers got a corner. STARS TEAM's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lütfullah Akçakoca ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lütfullah Akçakoca made a great header on KOO Tigers's corner, it was just that STARS TEAM's Veli Özbek managed to reach the ball for a save. Hüsmen Ötüken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Veli Özbek having to interfere. Tolga Şahinhan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tolga Şahinhan's late challenge caught a STARS TEAM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tolga Şahinhan helped the player get up and apologised. After 65 played minutes KOO Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Cankut Biçimli. After a rather tough play, STARS TEAM's Onuralp Aldemir got a free kick in the 66th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Muharrem Bektaş notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of KOO Tigers's Saadettin Kutsoy. Saadettin Kutsoy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Birol Harmanda's late challenge caught a KOO Tigers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The supporters of STARS TEAM booed when KOO Tigers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emrullah Özdek didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 80 minutes, Cemil Kaya mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the STARS TEAM and the KOO Tigers players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience held their breath when Bülent Yazargil in the 96th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Saadettin Kutsoy's left hand side.
