In the 3rd minute Tolga Şahinhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emirhan İpekli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Abayhan Gültekin fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KOO Tigers's protests and gave Abayhan Gültekin a yellow card for diving instead. After 4 played minutes KOO Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Abayhan Gültekin. 15 minutes into the match, Tolga Şahinhan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emirhan İpekli. Birvan Spor Kulübü's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tolga Şahinhan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 18th minute Hüsmen Ötüken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emirhan İpekli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Tolga Şahinhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. KOO Tigers's supporters rose to their feet, but Tolga Şahinhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emirhan İpekli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The KOO Tigers fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when KOO Tigers's Tolga Şahinhan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 44 played minutes KOO Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Hüsmen Ötüken. Saadettin Kutsoy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baran Taze in the 46th minute. After a rather tough play, KOO Tigers's Harun Beyzade got a free kick in the 46th minute. The Birvan Spor Kulübü players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. KOO Tigers were winning 0-3.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Tolga Şahinhan in the 57th minute of play forced Birvan Spor Kulübü's goalkeeper Emirhan İpekli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the game, one of Birvan Spor Kulübü:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 69 minutes, KOO Tigers's Lütfullah Akçakoca got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Emirhan İpekli. Birvan Spor Kulübü's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Tolga Şahinhan scored to the left of an out of position Emirhan İpekli, making the score, 0-5. Saadettin Kutsoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baran Taze in the 84th minute of the match. Özal Erbay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Emirhan İpekli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Abayhan Gültekin was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. Tolga Şahinhan charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tolga Şahinhan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 94 played minutes KOO Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Tolga Şahinhan. After 95 played minutes KOO Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Hüsmen Ötüken. The KOO Tigers players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
