The GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mustafa Ali Baysu should have stopped the shot. After 31 played minutes GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR got a freekick which was hit by Hayrullah Ağcabey. Selman Sefaaddin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Ali Baysu having to interfere. In the 35th minute Selman Sefaaddin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Ali Baysu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özalp Veysel in the 37th minute of play forced Nevşehir Juniors's goalkeeper Tuncer Akdeniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR booed when Nevşehir Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lütfi Yalçınkaya didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Lütfi Yalçınkaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kunter Ulus to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Zekeriya Akoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute Hayrullah Ağcabey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tuncer Akdeniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hayrullah Ağcabey in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tuncer Akdeniz saved Nevşehir Juniors from getting behind. In the 78th minute of the match, Selman Sefaaddin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mustafa Ali Baysu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Mustafa Ali Baysu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Cebrail Celvet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tuncer Akdeniz. Nevşehir Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cebrail Celvet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4.
