Aycan Ustaoğlu hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. When the match had been going on for 4 minutes Bilgin Yenisey shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Şerafettin Demirtekin when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. Şerafettin Demirtekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bilgin Yenisey in the 6th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osman Onay got free with Hilmi Yücetekin in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. CAN ERZURUM's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Durmuş Topay scored to the left of an out of position Hilmi Yücetekin, making the score, 1-0. Şerafettin Demirtekin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kadir Gagauz, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 25 minutes into the game, Onur Akçam was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CAN ERZURUM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KARTALSPOR KULÜBÜ the free kick. After 25 played minutes CAN ERZURUM got a freekick which was hit by Onur Akçam. 29 minutes into the game, CAN ERZURUM's Cankut Bakanay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Şerafettin Demirtekin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 32nd minute Bilgin Yenisey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şerafettin Demirtekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Cankut Bakanay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Şerafettin Demirtekin. KARTALSPOR KULÜBÜ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cankut Bakanay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Şerafettin Demirtekin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kadir Gagauz in the 47th minute of the match. The KARTALSPOR KULÜBÜ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CAN ERZURUM were winning 2-4.

Cankut Bakanay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Şerafettin Demirtekin made a huge save. Şerafettin Demirtekin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Selami Ülküm hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Bilgin Yenisey received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Şerafettin Demirtekin came out and tried to block the shot, but Bilgin Yenisey slotted it home off the left post making it 2-6 in the 67th minute. 69 minutes into the match, KARTALSPOR KULÜBÜ's goal looked a bit too open when Kadir Gagauz came free, but Şerafettin Demirtekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hilmi Yücetekin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osman Onay, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After a rather tough play, KARTALSPOR KULÜBÜ's Selami Ülküm got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 91st minute of the match, Bilgin Yenisey tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Şerafettin Demirtekin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 93 minutes into the game, Bilgin Yenisey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-7. Şerafettin Demirtekin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, CAN ERZURUM's Buğra Ünalp got a free kick in the 96th minute. CAN ERZURUM's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
