The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaffar Serim during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Birdal Oğuzbay hit a great ball. Baransel Gündem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Müslüm Akbaş in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yağızhan Haneci in the 21st minute of play forced SOFiNiN KEDiSi's goalkeeper Hüsnü Mukaddes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ali Nabi Yörük had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. SOFiNiN KEDiSi's Hüsnü Mukaddes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akay Hedef in the 26th minute of play. After having played for 32 minutes, Taha Arıkhan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SOFiNiN KEDiSi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Taha Arıkhan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of SOFiNiN KEDiSi booed when VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Haşim Acaroğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baransel Gündem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Üzeyir Durcan in the 35th minute of the match. Baransel Gündem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orkun Cevar in the 37th minute of play. Akay Hedef kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yağızhan Haneci to make the kick off. SOFiNiN KEDiSi's Hüsnü Mukaddes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Nabi Yörük in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of SOFiNiN KEDiSi booed when VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Akay Hedef didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lütfü Tanbolat charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lütfü Tanbolat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Üzeyir Durcan in the 79th minute of play forced VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's goalkeeper Baransel Gündem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 played minutes VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL got a freekick which was hit by Duman Ünüvar. Baransel Gündem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Üzeyir Durcan, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Üzeyir Durcan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Baransel Gündem made a huge save. Üzeyir Durcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. SOFiNiN KEDiSi were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL to leave the ground with a draw.
