Stig-Åke Andberg came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Youth Academy Of Rhye's Ulf Holm. But to his dismay, Ulf Holm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 18 minutes into the match, Ulf Holm notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of The Mongols's Stig-Åke Andberg. Stig-Åke Andberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Youth Academy Of Rhye's Leo Carlsson got control of the ball when Göran Hammarberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 25th match minute, Youth Academy Of Rhye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arvin Eriksson to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute Carl Gustavsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Carlsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of The Mongols booed when Youth Academy Of Rhye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Hallgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Youth Academy Of Rhye's Leo Carlsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göran Hammarberg in the 29th minute of play. Leo Carlsson came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by The Mongols's Aaron Falkrans. But to his dismay, Aaron Falkrans quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Filip Hallgren hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute of the match, Aaron Falkrans got a very nice opportunity to score, but Leo Carlsson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 46 played minutes Youth Academy Of Rhye got a freekick which was hit by Filip Hallgren. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Göran Hammarberg in the 53rd minute of play forced Youth Academy Of Rhye's goalkeeper Leo Carlsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Youth Academy Of Rhye's goal looked a bit too open when Göran Hammarberg came free, but Leo Carlsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stig-Åke Andberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Källberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute Youth Academy Of Rhye were awarded a corner. Erik Källberg went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Erik Källberg almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but The Mongols's Stig-Åke Andberg did a great save. In the 78th minute Youth Academy Of Rhye were awarded a corner. The corner led Youth Academy Of Rhye's Erik Källberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Stig-Åke Andberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Erik Källberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edmund Ek charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmund Ek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 94th minute, Edmund Ek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
