In the 17th minute, Carl Gustavsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Mongols fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. With a little luck, Flodde CFC's Jens-Ola Sundin got control of the ball when Aaron Falkrans tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 46 played minutes Flodde CFC got a freekick which was hit by Rasmus Persson. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Aaron Falkrans managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Mongols's supporters rose to their feet, but Aaron Falkrans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jens-Ola Sundin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nils-Åke Wallin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jens-Ola Sundin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Falkrans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jens-Ola Sundin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elliott Berg in the 91st minute of the match. If Nils-Åke Wallin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 94 minutes, Allan Brovall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flodde CFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Allan Brovall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 97 minutes into the match, Flodde CFC's goal looked a bit too open when Elliott Berg came free, but Jens-Ola Sundin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flodde CFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
