The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Mysarnas BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl-Ove Stålman should have stopped the shot. When Ulf Holm came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Youth Academy Of Rhye fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulf Holm couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eric Sandström got free with Leo Carlsson in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arvin Eriksson during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arvin Eriksson hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute of the match, Oskar Norström tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Leo Carlsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
