The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Valla Fc's Ulf Jakobsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Broman in the 19th minute of play. Haymakers FC's Stig Brask played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Rosendal in the 23rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Oskar Wallmark could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Stig Brask however easily saved by the left post. Lukas Apelkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lukas Apelkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 26 played minutes Haymakers FC got a freekick which was hit by Lukas Apelkvist. In the 28th minute, Jarl Granström made a precise shot to the right of Ulf Jakobsson. Valla Fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Stig Brask made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oskar Wallmark in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute, Fredric Bergström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulf Jakobsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarl Granström in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Leif Lund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stig Brask was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lukas Apelkvist to make the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Leif Lund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Haymakers FC's Stig Brask was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stig Brask took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oskar Wallmark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Kurt Westerberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ulf Jakobsson. That made the score 1-2 in the 63 minute of play. In the 68th minute, Oskar Wallmark left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Valla Fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. 72 minutes into the match, Valla Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Broman came free, but Ulf Jakobsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Christoffer Sjöberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oskar Wallmark charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oskar Wallmark the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A hard shot 81 in the game by Roger Broman from a close distance when the talented Ulf Jakobsson managed to make a qualified save. Valla Fc's players were relieved. 85 minutes into the match, Valentin Rosendal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stig Brask. Haymakers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentin Rosendal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Broman in the 88th minute of play forced Valla Fc's goalkeeper Ulf Jakobsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Roger Broman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ulf Jakobsson. The goal made the score 3-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jarl Granström got free with Ulf Jakobsson in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stig Brask showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Rosendal, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Despite being the better team, Haymakers FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
