In the 2nd minute, Mountainhammer United's Kristoffer Kråk ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Staffan Törnqvist. Staffan Törnqvist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Staffan Törnqvist was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Östen Skräddare capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Östen Skräddare really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Staffan Törnqvist was a little too slow when Uno Gadd got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 4-0. Hisings Kärra RK's Staffan Törnqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Hisings Kärra RK from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Hisings Kärra RK's Staffan Törnqvist got control of the ball when Ronny Tunström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carl Samuelsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Helge Glad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Kristoffer Kråk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Staffan Törnqvist. When Ivar Vallengren fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hisings Kärra RK's protests and gave Ivar Vallengren a yellow card for diving instead. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Uno Gadd made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Mountainhammer United booed when Hisings Kärra RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andréas Harman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hisings Kärra RK's Staffan Törnqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronny Tunström in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Arne Harman in the 55th minute of play forced Mountainhammer United's goalkeeper Carl Samuelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Ronny Tunström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mountainhammer United's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronny Tunström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Staffan Törnqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Uno Gadd scored 9-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Staffan Törnqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Staffan Törnqvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mountainhammer United's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
