Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Jan-Ove Gustafsson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Lennart Gernberg fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bergandy's protests and gave Lennart Gernberg a yellow card for diving instead. Bergandy:s Lennart Åkesson showed great skill when he stopped Stefan Snell:s penalty. Göran Martinsson scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Göran Ugla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stefan Snell's late challenge caught a Bergandy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stefan Snell helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd match minute, Woopbongo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Snell to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute of the match Erland Malm shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Göran Ugla showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Göran Ugla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mats Snell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th match minute, Bergandy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Edvin Blom to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Bergandy's Lennart Åkesson got control of the ball when Jan-Ove Gustafsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Mats Snell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Göran Ugla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mats Snell went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 44th minute, Woopbongo's Max Pettersson seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Max Pettersson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Woopbongo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Max Pettersson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Per-Erik Albom made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Woopbongo got a freekick which was hit by Börje Östman. Woopbongo's Göran Ugla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats Snell in the 56th minute of play. After 59 minutes, Mårten Lund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Woopbongo and the Bergandy players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Woopbongo's Mårten Lund got a free kick in the 59th minute. Göran Ugla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göran Martinsson in the 61st minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Woopbongo's goalkeeper Göran Ugla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Per-Erik Albom. The crowd rose to their feet as Bergandy's Per-Erik Albom slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Göran Ugla. That made the score 1-7 after 74 minutes of play. Woopbongo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Mats Snell scored to the left of an out of position Göran Ugla, making the score, 1-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Snell in the 86th minute of play forced Woopbongo's goalkeeper Göran Ugla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th match minute, Woopbongo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Snell to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute Mats Snell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göran Ugla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Per-Erik Albom had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Göran Ugla. Woopbongo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Per-Erik Albom was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-9. Göran Ugla made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Per-Erik Albom sent off a good shot on target. Marc Alfors scored 1-10 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Göran Ugla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bergandy's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
