The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 6 minutes, Emil Bennet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. spikarna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emil Bennet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Per-Arne Lång fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Sandwall having to interfere. 12 minutes into the game, Leo Bergström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emil Stål. Leo Bergström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, spikarna's Oscar Söderqwist got a free kick in the 21st minute. spikarna's Per Månsson got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Per Månsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christer Sandwall having to make a save. In the 29th minute Emil Bennet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Sandwall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Per-Arne Lång in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christer Sandwall saved SupremEs Divor - Ej KM from getting behind. In the 37th match minute, spikarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrik Berggren to maneuver through the defense. Christer Sandwall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Arne Lång, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Per-Arne Lång stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 60 minutes, Per Månsson made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. SupremEs Divor - Ej KM's Christer Sandwall tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Per-Arne Lång's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christer Sandwall was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Per-Arne Lång hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the game, Per Månsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Christer Sandwall. Per Månsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Per-Arne Långs short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Christer Sandwall to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Christer Sandwall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Månsson in the 81st minute of play. 1-5 became the score in the 89th minute when Per Månsson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The long shot by Dick Lövkvist in the 95th minute really tested Christer Sandwall's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched spikarna eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
