Köping's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blackjacks the free kick. Per Samuelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulf Wallman having to interfere. Lucas Eriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Erik Allbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Ivan Kvick could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Lucas Eriksson made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Per Samuelsson to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of Köping:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Blackjacks:s goal. After 68 minutes, Rune Odeen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blackjacks and the Köping players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 68 played minutes Blackjacks got a freekick which was hit by Rune Odeen. Lucas Eriksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Rudqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gert Kaxe kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Blackjacks were furious when Rune Odeen was red carded, 90 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 90 minutes into the game, one of Blackjacks:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Köping a penalty, 93 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Valter Strömbom, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Blackjacks's Lucas Eriksson. 2-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Köping fully deserved thier win.
