After 7 minutes, Helge Tholsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bloodthirsty FC and the Boomerang Bombers players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bloodthirsty FC's Helge Tholsson got a free kick in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Åke Sjögren in the 16th minute of play forced Bloodthirsty FC's goalkeeper Aleksander Smefeldt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Alf Eliasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filiph Samuelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gunnar Björnberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. With 31 minutes on the clock, Orvar Rolfsson commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to Boomerang Bombers getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Orvar Rolfsson hit a great ball. Patrik Mikaelsson hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, Bloodthirsty FC's goalkeeper Aleksander Smefeldt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Åke Sjögren. A wasted opportunity for Boomerang Bombers. After a defensive mix-up in Bloodthirsty FC's zone, Åke Sjögren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aleksander Smefeldt came out of the goal and Åke Sjögren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Boomerang Bombers's Aleksander Smefeldt threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roy Vallgren, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Roy Vallgren made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Holger Lindholm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bloodthirsty FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Holger Lindholm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Åke Sjögren came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Boomerang Bombers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Åke Sjögren couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute, one of Bloodthirsty FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bloodthirsty FC. Anton Albom walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roy Vallgren during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Boomerang Bombers's Roy Vallgren got a free kick in the 76th minute. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Gunnar Björnberg took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Filiph Samuelsson to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Boomerang Bombers's Filiph Samuelsson got control of the ball when Göran Ekelund tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Boomerang Bombers players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
