Malmö White Knights's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johan Hedlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th match minute, Malmö White Knights was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rutger Delin to maneuver through the defense. When Rutger Delin fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malmö White Knights's protests and gave Rutger Delin a yellow card for diving instead. Rutger Delin hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Petter Fransson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from John Larsson went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Johan Hedlund in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Magne Axelsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Vilhelm Zander struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Petter Fransson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Finninge Fotboll. After a rather tough play, Malmö White Knights's Staffan Wallin got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 28thth minute of the game Vilhelm Zander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Malmö White Knights's Petter Fransson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29th match minute, Finninge Fotboll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Biörk to maneuver through the defense. When Edward Lundgren fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Petter Fransson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute John Larsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petter Fransson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Malmö White Knights's Staffan Wallin got a free kick in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for John Larsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Johan Hedlund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Magne Axelsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Lucas Gummeson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magne Axelsson having to interfere. Magne Axelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johan Hedlund in the 67th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Finninge Fotboll's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Gummeson came free, but Magne Axelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Finninge Fotboll could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Malmö White Knights throughout the match.
