Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) A collision led to IFK Stockholm getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Jens Vik hit a great ball. The long shot by Hubert Kruse in the 7th minute really tested Erik Öberg's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Danielsson in the 9th minute of play forced IFK Stockholm's goalkeeper Erik Öberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Bertil Lange could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Erik Öberg however easily saved by the left post. Erik Öberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olov Eklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Åke Martinsson during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 14 played minutes IFK Stockholm got a freekick which was hit by Åke Martinsson. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Stefan Danielsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Frölundaboys's supporters rose to their feet, but Stefan Danielsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erik Öberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erik Öberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Danielsson in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Frölundaboys's goal looked a bit too open when Brian Wennerberg came free, but Ragnar Skålberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Frölundaboys's zone, Jens Vik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ragnar Skålberg came out of the goal and Jens Vik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 24 minutes into the match, IFK Stockholm's goal looked a bit too open when Jon Berggren came free, but Erik Öberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Brian Wennerberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ragnar Skålberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Åke Martinsson in the 29th minute of play forced Frölundaboys's goalkeeper Ragnar Skålberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stefan Danielsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kent Askberg hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 41st match minute, IFK Stockholm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brian Wennerberg to maneuver through the defense. Ragnar Skålberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian Wennerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, IFK Stockholm's Erik Öberg got control of the ball when Bertil Lange tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 47th minute, Bertil Lange left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Frölundaboys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Danielsson in the 56th minute of play forced IFK Stockholm's goalkeeper Erik Öberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erik Öberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olov Eklund went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Erik Öberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olov Eklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Bertil Lange scored 3-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erik Öberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Danielsson in the 70th minute of play forced IFK Stockholm's goalkeeper Erik Öberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. IFK Stockholm's Erik Öberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olov Eklund in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olov Eklund in the 77th minute of play forced IFK Stockholm's goalkeeper Erik Öberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, IFK Stockholm's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Danielsson came free, but Erik Öberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute Olov Eklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Öberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erik Öberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Danielsson in the 83rd minute of the match. 88 minutes into the game, Frölundaboys's Olov Eklund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erik Öberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Frölundaboys's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
