Michel Duset showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Galle, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Einar Rosendahl in the 16th minute of play forced Asarum's goalkeeper Michel Duset to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter Sjögren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Engström in the 34th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Erik Sandberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Bengt Jönsson sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Peter Sjögren threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Bengt Jönsson this time. Olof Fribäck kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Åke Galle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Michel Duset tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan-Olof Örn's late challenge caught a Asarum's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Åke Galle was the one to do the kick off. INIXET BK were furious when Sten Ekgren was red carded, 56 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arvin Månsson in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michel Duset prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Einar Rosendahl hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Peter Sjögren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Magnus Nyberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute, Karl-Magnus Nyberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Peter Sjögren was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Asarum's zone, Arvin Månsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michel Duset came out of the goal and Arvin Månsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Robin Källberg fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored INIXET BK's protests and gave Robin Källberg a yellow card for diving instead.
